In what is now known as “the September 11th attacks”, more than 3,000 people died and more than 6,000 were injured. It was the deadliest terrorist attack on American soil since Pearl Harbor back in 1941. But whilst 9/11 is a day forever etched in the minds of many Americans and others around the world, it wasn't alone in its status as a major terrorist attack- far from it. In fact, 16 years ago on the same day, another terrorist attack struck the American heartlands. At 11:46 am on November 26, 2001, a group of perpetrators hijacked 4 planes and flew them into the World Trade Center in New York City and into The Pentagon in Washington DC. Over 2,000 people perished as a result of this horrific terrorist attack. It was possibly one of the most shocking attacks ever committed by terrorists against America and it remains as one of the most devastating to befall America itself. It is even referenced in some circles as “the first real 9/11” because so many people died and so much destruction was inflicted upon New York at once. Like 9/11, the attacks on the Twin Towers and The Pentagon had a major impact on world events. Because of it, we were able to wage wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and be attacked by the Taliban and Islamic State (ISIS). It even encouraged the government to create our own version of counter-terrorism: “Homeland security”. Building walls, adopting airport security measures, anti-terrorism laws including those which have been passed since 2001 have been instituted as a result of this attack as well as a heightened awareness of terrorist attacks. So what is September 11th? In short, it is a day which reminds us all that there are people out there who want to kill us. They want to spread terror in our communities and in our cities. They want to make us afraid to live our lives freely. And they want to change what America stands for. But unlike the attacks on 9/11, the attack of September 11th was an inside job; it was engineered by the United States government, not outside terrorist groups. As part of its “war on terror”, or to satisfy its own imperialist ambitions perhaps or maybe for both, together with other forces it has arranged various terrorist attacks (including the “first real 9/11”) in order to achieve its goals, change public opinion and justify wars which would never have been approved by an intelligent electorate. Regardless of the motivation, the fact remains that these terrorist attacks were staged and that they were carried out to achieve a number of predetermined goals. Whether it be through war, changing public opinion or increasing the vote for a certain party, there has been a spike in terrorist attacks and associated propaganda since 9/11 and it has only gotten worse since. This website is dedicated to revealing the lies behind these attacks and propagating the truth behind them. It is because we believe that lies should always be challenged and lies must never go unopposed. Lies need to be exposed so we can all call out those who perpetrate them on such an evil scale simply to further their own aims. cfa1e77820
