I have a Gigabit network, normal torrent download speeds are around 10-20 Mbps. depending on the torrent, with the VPN active, that drops to 0-100kbps no matter what torrent. Is there a workaround for getting better download speeds? I should add that all downloads are slowed by the VPN, but torrents are not even doable with it on.
Founded in 2003, The Pirate Bay has been one of the most trustworthy torrent sites for many years. It allows you to download different kinds of torrents, including TV shows, movies, games and music.

This crackdown extends as far as anyone who uses a torrent client iOS risking getting their information sent to ISPs, copyright companies, or even the FBI. Unless you wish to face such grim consequences of legally downloading Apple torrents on the iPhone, it is highly recommended to secure your identity, personal information, and privacy with a dedicated VPN for torrenting, such as KeepSolid VPN Unlimited.
Unfortunately, there is no uTorrent mobile or uTorrent iOS. Apple went to great lengths to ban all torrent clients from App Store, so currently the only iPad torrenting apps` available are those by third parties and download managers. One of the best such tools is iDownloader. Combined with a torrent downloader VPN, it is a reliable and secure way to download torrents on iPad and avoid undeserved copyright notices or fines.
iDownloader + VPN is a powerful mix for torrenting. The former allows to download torrents on iPad in a most optimized and organized way. The latter ensures the security of your personal information and your complete anonymity and privacy.

Visit: Website ($19)4. Free Download ManagerFree Download Manager or FDM is yet another open-source download manager for Windows which is very powerful. FDM, like other download managers on this list, brings faster download speeds by splitting the downloading files into different parts and then downloading those parts simultaneously. It also supports pausing and resuming of downloads even when a download is interrupted abruptly. One of the unique features of FDM is its support for torrent files which comes in really handy at times. I also love its bandwidth management features which allow me to allocate bandwidth to downloads thereby allowing me to surf the web without any hindrance in speed. FDM is also one of the best looking download managers on this list and I quite like its modern and clean UI.
In a way, it acts similarly to a torrent where you have to share your bandwidth for being able to download files. If you like what you read here, download EagleGet by clicking on the link below.Pros:Speedier downloads
Built-in malware checker
Support for sequential downloads
Cons:Free but with ads

It brings features such as multi-connection downloads which uses file splitting to increase download speeds, batch download with file queuing, and the ability to resume and pause downloads without having to start the downloads from the beginning. One of my favorite things about uGet is its looks.
Cons:Installation and configuration is a bit hard
Visit: Website (free)7. Xtreme Download ManagerXtreme Download Manager is one of the oldest download manager available for Windows and it works great. The app is best for handling downloads of video content as it supports link parsing for most of the major video platforms including YouTube, Dailymotion, Facebook, Vimeo, Google Video and 1000+ other websites. That does not mean to say that it is only good for downloading videos. On the contrary, just like all the other download managers on this list, Xtreme Download Manager works with all file types. That being said, it is best for downloading video files. One of my favorite features of XDM is the ability to download entire playlists from YouTube without having to input links for individual videos.
Depending on how comfortable you are with modifying your Cloud, You can actuall have your NAS download the torrents directly to itself allowing you to turn off your computer without interrupting the downloads.
